5. Shipping & Delivery Policy

Suggested Shopify page title: Shipping & Delivery Policy

5.1 Delivery area

Titus22 primarily delivers within the Republic of South Africa. If delivery to another country or territory is not offered at checkout, please contact us before ordering. We do not guarantee that every product can lawfully or practically be shipped to every destination.

5.2 Courier

Orders may be shipped using The Courier Guy and/or another courier service selected by Titus22. The available service, rate and estimated delivery time may depend on the delivery address, parcel weight, parcel dimensions, product type and courier network coverage.

5.3 Shipping charges

Shipping charges are shown at checkout or otherwise agreed before the order is finalised. Rates may vary by destination, delivery method, remote-area classification, parcel size/weight and any courier surcharge applicable to the shipment.

5.4 Order processing and dispatch

We aim to dispatch in-stock orders promptly after payment has been confirmed. Unless a different dispatch estimate is shown on the product page, checkout or order communication, our operational target is generally 1–3 business days. This is a dispatch target, not a guaranteed delivery time. Orders placed over weekends or public holidays are processed on the next applicable business day.

5.5 Delivery estimates

Courier delivery estimates are estimates rather than guarantees and can be affected by route conditions, remote-area schedules, severe weather, peak periods, operational disruptions or events outside our reasonable control. We will provide tracking information where available.

5.6 Address and contact details

Customers must provide a complete and accurate street address, postal code, recipient name, email address and telephone number. We are not responsible for avoidable delay or additional courier charges caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer. If a parcel has not yet been dispatched, contact us immediately if you need to correct an address.

5.7 Failed delivery and re-delivery

If a delivery fails because no authorised person is available, access is restricted, the address is incorrect or the customer cannot be contacted, the courier may attempt re-delivery, hold the parcel or return it to us. Additional courier charges reasonably incurred because of customer-supplied address/contact issues may be payable by the customer where permitted by law.

5.8 Tracking

Where tracking is available, a tracking number or tracking link may be sent by email, SMS or another notification channel. Tracking events are supplied by the courier and may not update instantly.

5.9 Inspection on delivery

Please inspect the parcel as soon as reasonably possible. If the outer parcel shows obvious damage, photograph it before opening where practical. Keep the shipping label and packaging until you have confirmed that the order is correct and undamaged.

5.10 Lost or damaged parcels

If a parcel appears lost or materially delayed, contact sales@titus22.co.za so that we can investigate with the courier. If goods are damaged in transit, follow the process in the Returns & Refunds Policy. We will not use courier terms to remove statutory rights that customers may have against Titus22.

5.11 Delivery of knives and controlled / sensitive products

Where a product is subject to a lawful delivery restriction, identity requirement or carrier rule, Titus22 may request additional information or choose an appropriate delivery method. Customers remain responsible for ensuring that possession and receipt of the ordered product is lawful at the destination.

5.12 Risk and ownership

Risk in goods will pass in the manner required by applicable law. Nothing in this policy transfers risk to the customer earlier than South African consumer law permits. Ownership may remain with Titus22 until payment has been received in full.

5.13 Stock shortages

If an ordered item is unavailable, we will notify the customer as soon as reasonably possible and offer an appropriate solution, such as a refund, alternative product or delayed fulfilment where the customer agrees.

5.14 Delays beyond agreed period

If Titus22 cannot fulfil an order within an agreed delivery period, the customer will retain the cancellation and refund rights provided by applicable law. Where no different period has been agreed, the statutory rules governing performance of electronic orders will apply.
